FORT CAVAZOS Connector

The Cavazos Connector provides microtransit and circulator services to those traveling on the Fort Cavazos base. The microtransit service allows users to request on-demand trips within the designated zone, while the circulator route operates on a fixed schedule and provides connectivity to the Copeland Center, Visitor Center and Carl R. Darnall Hospital.

The Circulator Route services three high use stops at Copeland Center, Visitor Center, and Carl R. Darnall Hospital. One complete cycle can be completed in ~15 minutes. The connection at the Visitor Center provides connections with the off-post regional system to Temple, Belton, Harker Heights, Killeen, and Copperas Cove. No booking required.

The Microtransit System offers on-demand services similar to Uber and Lyft. One zone covers barracks areas; and five additional zones cover the main cantonment area, West Fort Cavazos, and family housing areas. A rider can within a zone, to an adjacent zone, the Visitor Center, or even to the Circulator Route.

Weekdays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. and weekends and holidays from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

All Cavazos Connector services are free of charge.

You can book a ride through The HOP rider app, through the online booking portal or by calling an agent at 254.933.3700.

The app is free and available for both iOS (Apple Store) and Android (Google Play) devices. Simply visit the Apple Store or Google Play, search for The HOP, and download it to get started.
