The HOP Response to COVID-19

As the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has become a concern, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have issued certain hygiene and sanitation guidelines. The HOP strongly recommends that passengers wear cloth face coverings on transit vehicles and in public settings in addition to practicing social distancing measures. The HOP will continue to keep the safety of its riders and employees as its top priority. The HOP enforces a rigorous sanitation routine in which all vehicles that go into service are thoroughly sanitized by our staff every evening. In response to COVID-19, The HOP is going beyond CDC recommendations by ensuring that each vehicle is chemically treated at least three times per day while in service. As a passenger, if you have any concerns about the cleanliness or safety of our service, we encourage you to bring it to the attention of the driver, or to call The HOP at (254) 933-3700.
