The HOP ADA Paratransit Service

The HOP does not discriminate against individuals with disabilities. We comply with Section 223 of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) which requires that public entities who operate non-commuter fixed route transportation services also provide complementary paratransit service for individuals unable to use the fixed route system. The HOP Special Transit Service (also referred to as Complementary Paratransit Service or Paratransit Service) is provided to those individuals with disabilities that are prevented from using the fixed route bus system for their particular trip needs.

The paratransit system operates within 3/4 mile of each Fixed Route.

If you have a disability that hinders your ability to use the Fixed Route Service, call 254-933-3700 and ask for an application for Special Transit Service, complete it, and then mail your application to:

Hill Country Transit District
